The study aims at the regeneration and development of public spaces in the Municipal Community of Aigiali, on the island of Amorgos, and specifically of the public space in the Langada area, with a surface of 1,852.45 m², preserving the existing uses and with the least possible intervention in the environment, always aiming at their environmental upgrading and aesthetic optimisation. Specifically, the study aims at the regeneration, upgrading and development of the area to create a modern, green neighbourhood space, with distinct uses that, as a whole, comply with the new urban bioclimatic standards and the principles of accessibility. The goal is the creation of a space open to the community, its residents and visitors, sustainable and safe, based on ecological/bioclimatic design principles and accessible to all.
