The project may have weathered many storms — it lost part of its funding, was pushed forward with municipal funds and emergency financing, and its physical scope changed — but the “ugly duckling” has finally been transformed into a jewel, and will shortly be handed over for use to the municipality and its citizens.
We are of course referring to the former warehouses of the Agricultural Cooperative Organisation (ASO) in Lechaina, which have been converted into a beautiful space that will house the artistic heritage and the art history of the wider Lechaina area and of the Municipality of Andravida–Kyllini in general.
Recently the doors and windows were installed in the former ASO warehouses, giving them the appearance of a completed building which, according to information from the Municipality of Andravida–Kyllini, is expected to be delivered in about two months’ time.
