Following the signing of a contract with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), ILIDA Consulting Engineers SA has undertaken the study for recording the existing road network of the country in the Regional Units of Achaia and Ilia.
Scope
The object of the study is the recording of the existing road network per Municipal Unit, in areas outside city street plans, outside the boundaries of settlements legally existing before 1923 and of settlements with up to 2,000 inhabitants. The study forms part of the Independent Studies for the Classification of Municipal Roads and will serve as the basis for the ratification of the public municipal road network by the competent Decentralised Administration.
Implementation proceeds in three stages: recording and analysis of requirements with data collection; mapping and vectorisation of the entire road network; and analysis with classification of the unrecognised network outside approved street plans and delimited settlements.
