The subject of the study is the complete design (Architectural, Structural and E/M installations design) for the construction of the Music School of the Municipality of Pineios.
The complex consists of two-storey wings, without a basement, and is articulated in three main sections – functional units – with an intermediate covered central entrance area.
The dominant element of the volumetric composition is the fragmentation of the volumes, which corresponds to the functional autonomy of the wings. This is achieved through the use of building units along the perimeter of the plot, combined with the configuration of the open or covered entrance and access areas to the courtyard.
